Rupert Health Centre Inc was opened by Dr. Kevin Leung in October 2005 in the Collingwood/Norquay neighbourhood of East Vancouver. We offer expertly delivered services in active rehabilitation, chiropractic, custom orthotics, laser therapy and registered massage therapy.
Our goal is dedicated to educating our patients in all aspects of health. We treat a wide range of conditions such as back/neck pain, headaches/migraines, joint pain, etc. We accept all extended health care insurance, MSP, WCB, ICBC & DVA.

Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Kevin Leung graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1998 with a Bachelor degree in Science (Kinesiology). He went on to University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2003. After graduation, Dr. Leung practiced in Washington State and returned to Vancouver to practice in 2004. His special interest includes sports injuries and motor vehicle accidents and utilizes rehabilitation exercises along with chiropractic manipulations, physical modalities and soft tissue release techniques to treat injuries.
Dr. Kevin Leung volunteered with the Collingwood Neighbourhood House and gave lectures to seniors and new settlers to the Collingwood area. Topics include Osteoporosis, fall prevention and the Medical Service Plan.
Dr. Leung works in conjunction with Simon Fraser University Co-Op Education department and have co-op students working in the clinic.
Dr. Kevin Leung's athletic achievement includes a bronze medal in the 1992 B.C. Summer Games for Volleyball.

Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Jason Cheng was born and raised in Taiwan. At the age of 16, his family moved to Canada. He attended Simon Fraser University, obtaining the bachelor degree in science with major in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and minor in Chemistry. The undergraduate education at SFU had helped set out his mind to learning about the human health and idea of many healthcare philosophies, including the holistic medicines. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at University of Western States. He is well trained in diversified chiropractic adjustment technique, instrument assisted soft-tissue technique, physiotherapy modalities, and rehabilitative exercises.
Dr. Jason Cheng is committed to assisting patients to achieve their highest possible health by motivating them to take care of themselves. Aside from chiropractic treatment, he also provides various physiotherapy modalities, professional advice on home care, activity modifications, exercise, and even dietary plans. By setting out health goals and walking through the treatment plan with the patient, he is dedicated to ensure they get the care they really deserve. Dr. Cheng also believes that optimal health is not just about what to do inside the treatment room, but more importantly, also about what to do outside of the treatment room. In his spare time, he likes to exercise, read, photograph, cook, and enjoy times hanging out with family and friends each and every single day.
Registered Massage Therapist
Jonathan Lumanlan is an RMT and graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy 2009.
Jonathan incorporates a variety of techniques into his massage treatments including: Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, deep tissue massage, joint mobilizations, hydrotherapy, and remedial exercises. Therapy sessions start with an assessment and consultation and a post treatment discussion regarding home self-care includes: remedial exercise based on the clients abilities and lifestyle, hydrotherapy, self-massage and diaphragmatic breathing. Jonathan's personal approach to maintaining health is based on the body's natural healing power. He applies a variety of techniques tailored to your individual needs, in order to restore the body's proper alignment and posture. He has enjoyed working on a wide range of pathologies from chronic pain, headaches, muscle imbalances in the shoulder girdle or pelvis regions, and nerve irritation in the neck, shoulders, low back and hips.
Jonathan resides in Burnaby, and ultimately dreams of building his practice through the community and showing people the benefits of massage and a stretching and strengthening program.

Andrea graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2012 with a Bachelor degree in Science (Kinesiology).
She is also a graduate of West Coast Massage Therapy school in 2014. Andrea is fluent in Cantonese and speaks a little bit of Mandarin.
Andrea is passionate about helping others in maintaining a holistic lifestyle.
In her free time, Andrea enjoys taking care of animals especially dogs.
